Davies Data Entry Clerk
At the start of this role I was responsible for accurately inputting, updating and maintaining critical data that relates to insurance policies and claims. This has since developed into a claims handling role in which I deal with customers and help them with their claims.
The role has helped develop my proficiency within the Microsoft package and other job specific programs.
2022 - Current
Sports Direct Sales Assistant
The main role within this company was to liaise with customers on a day to day basis in order to provide support and help them with their needs. I also ensured I gave them insightful product knowledge and placement to sustain the sales of the branch
As well as working with customers a vital part of the job was to build a tight relationship with colleagues to maintain a high team efficiency, this was very important especially during the busy periods. This was a useful skill to have as I eventually was given the responsibility of looking after newcomers and training them up on the shoe department.
2018 - 2022
Graham Engineering Apprentice Welder
This was my first role after finishing school and gave me many practical skills as I was involved in various sectors within the engineering industry including Turning, Milling, CAD, CAM, CNC and Tool Making, both in the classroom and onsite at my employer’s company working alongside experienced engineering staff.
Although this role doesn’t fit into my current career path it was an essential job to develop my core working skills and helped me develop into the person I am today.
